North Central Health Center Project

The property to be developed as the new North Central Health Center at 1210 West Braker Lane is scheduled to open to the public in 2011 and will be wholly owned by Central Health. The health care services will be delivered by CommUnityCare.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Aug. 5 open house at St. Albert's Parish Hall. We hope we were able to answer all of your questions about the project and provide some valuable information about the design of the facility.

Project History
The Central Health Board of Managers voted to complete the purchase of property at 1210 W. Braker Lane on December 18, 2008 with the intention of building a Health Center to be operated by the CommUnityCare system. The property development process is estimated to take place over the course of the next 24-36 months with the building expected to be completed in mid to late 2011.
We will keep all interested parties informed of activities and next steps regarding the development of this property as they occur. To that end, we are taking steps to build and/or enhance communication mechanisms such as the existing email list that many have signed up for to hear updates about the project. There will also be direct mail communications with members of the surrounding community about these efforts. Additionally, Central Health is currently developing a process to involve those interested in participating in the land use and building compatibility development process. More information about that process will be shared at a later date.
